As a board-certified family medicine physician with training in lifestyle medicine, I have chosen to opt out of the current healthcare system characterized by long wait times, unexpected co-pays, and hurried appointments that often overlook what truly matters – the patient and their physician. With a passion for personalized care, I am excited to introduce Rooted Direct Primary Care, where I can return to the core of practicing medicine: nurturing relationships with patients to deliver high-quality support as they embark on their individual wellness journeys. 

The Direct Primary Care model is designed to place you back at the center of your healthcare experience. By paying a reasonable monthly membership fee, you gain access to your personal physician via text, calls, and email. As a direct care physician in Richmond VA, I do not accept insurance payments. This allows you to consult me in the office, over the phone, or via telemedicine without the stress of worrying about insurance coverage. Once you enroll in Rooted Direct Primary Care, you can see me for acute concerns as soon as the same or next day, or you have the option to schedule longer visits to discuss new or complex issues, and have an in-depth wellness exam to review bloodwork, discuss recommended screenings, and vaccinations along with a comprehensive physical exam. In Direct Primary Care, your appointments are tailored to meet your specific needs. Ultimately, your care is focused on you, unhindered by insurance limits, and supported by a commitment to help you and your family maintain optimal health so you can live your best lives.
